“Grandma’s message is that I’m dead, I’ll bury it next to you, Dad. (If I die, I will bury him next to my father),” he continued.
The wife of a National Hero and recipient of the Veteran’s Star service also does not want any military honors or salvos at her funeral. He wanted to be buried like an ordinary person even though many officials were present.
“I just wanted a simple message,” he said.
