The producer of the 1990 film Dilan, Ody Mulya Hidayat, was reportedly kidnapped by his own extended family. The alleged kidnapping emerged after Ody’s wife, Mirna Febryani, reported it to Polda Metro Jaya.
Febri said her husband was taken away by his siblings and brother-in-law when he was out to buy food.
However, recently Ody appeared and said he was not kidnapped but decided to come with his extended family on his own conscience.
Nevertheless, Febri seems to be adamant about his allegations, so Ody’s extended family chose to take him to court as well.

Ody’s family attorney, Secar Piandy, reported back to Febri on suspicion of making a false report regarding the kidnapping of Ody Mulya Hidayat.
“We have a legal team coming from Ody’s brother, Ody’s family and Ody Mulya, today to make a report back regarding Mirna Febryani’s confession, which we suspect has made a false report which was submitted to the Regional Police,” said Secar, quoted by Suara Liberte from the channel. YouTube Celebrity Oncam News, Friday (1/9/2023).
Furthermore, Secar then explained that Ody’s decision to leave home and return to his extended family was a conscious decision.
Apart from that, Ody is the head of the household who can make his own choices.
“Ody is the head of the family. Religiously, he decides, he wants to leave the house, he wants to leave the house, no one can stop him, he goes and comes home from where he is with his own conscience,” he explained.

Therefore, Ody’s family admitted that they were surprised that they were reported because they were thought to have kidnapped their own family members. “But why was it reported to his brother or his family? Even though he himself was not kidnapped,” he stressed.
Meanwhile, Mirna Febryani has not yet responded to her report.
